IT Series Panel Tackles Online Privacy Concerns

Online privacy and security are top concerns of enterprises engaged in business-to-business and business-to-consumer efforts. That issue tops the agenda as Barks Communications continues its examination of information technology trends by co-sponsoring a panel discussion on "E-Privacy in the Information Age" on Wednesday, April 12, 2000.

The dialogue is the next chapter in the high tech discussion forum, "IT Series: Digital Economy of Today and Tomorrow," presented by the Fairfax County (Virginia) Chamber of Commerce. Registration information is available through the Chamber's web site at http://www.fccc.org.

The privacy panelists include Virginia Secretary of Technology Don Upson, and Vance Gudmundsen, Assistant General Counsel of Capitol One Financial Corporation. Steve Gladis of the University of Virginia Northern Virginia Center will serve as moderator.

Specifics are as follows:

Date: Wednesday, April 12, 2000
Time: 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Place: Sheraton Premiere, 8661 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, Virginia

Barks Communications co-sponsors this series of high tech presentations to solidify its leadership position in the information technology communications training field.
