Enhanced Barkscomm.com Features Free Newsletter, Articles;
Serves as Resource for PR Agency Clients

Barkscomm.com, the Internet's Communications Training Resource, now offers new features and a fresh look.

"Our new design makes the site easier to navigate, while maintaining our commitment to the rich content that has always been the hallmark of Barkscomm.com," said Barks Communications President Edward J. Barks.

The company's web site address remains www.barkscomm.com.

"Bookmark Barkscomm.com," Barks urged. "We've made it more convenient than ever for online visitors to learn about media training, presentation skills training, and legislative testimony training."

Everything on Barkscomm.com is free. This includes subscriptions to Barks' monthly Personal Trainer newsletter, the Personal Trainer library, articles that organizations can run in their publications, and more.

"We have made it easier than ever for Barkscomm.com visitors to subscribe to our Personal Trainer e-zine," Barks noted. "Anyone who deals with the media or speaks in public in any fashion stands to benefit from the tips included in each month's edition of Personal Trainer."

Barks emphasized the role Barkscomm.com plays in his company's collaborative approach to other public relations firms: "We specialize in partnering with other public relations agencies large and small. Barkscomm.com is an integral part of that service, providing a valuable ongoing resource for our partners and their clients.

"Barkscomm.com is one more way we make our agency partners look good in their clients' eyes," he added.

"I am confident the retooled Barkscomm.com will benefit our partners in public relations agencies, public affairs groups, and government relations shops nationwide as well as our corporate clients," he continued.

The updated Barkscomm.com highlights the innovations that Barks Communications brings to its field of specialization - communications training. "Our focus on partnerships with other public relations agencies, the Personal Trainer electronic newsletter, our innovative telephone-based trainings, the free articles we offer to organizations for their publications, and now, the revamped Barkscomm.com all stand as examples of Barks Communications' commitment to creating novel ways to serve our clients," Barks said.

Barkscomm.com also includes a wealth of articles authored by Ed Barks that offer tips on how to speak in public, deal with the press, and testify before government panels.

The Barkscomm.com Press Gallery is a special area reserved for journalists. "We teach our clients how to foster an open and honest working relationship with the media. The Barkscomm.com Press Gallery carries forth that belief by serving as our 24/7 conduit to reporters," Barks explained.

Barks Communications specializes in media, presentation skills, and legislative and regulatory testimony training for business, association, government, and non-profit leaders. In addition, company President Ed Barks speaks before groups seeking to sharpen their communications skills. The firm also operates Barkscomm.com, the Internet's Communications Training Resource, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week at www.barkscomm.com.
