Barkscomm.com: New Resource for Today's Leaders
Barkscomm.com has arrived. This valuable new online resource is designed to aid business, association, and non-profit leaders in their quest for better media relations, enhanced public speaking skills, and improved Congressional testimony abilities.
The address on the World Wide Web is http://barkscomm.com. The content-rich Internet site is operated by Barks Communications, the specialist in media, public speech, and legislative testimony training.
"With a few clicks of the mouse, visitors to Barkscomm.com can sharpen their communications edge," said the company's President, Edward J. Barks. "There is no charge for any of this knowledge. We are 100 percent committed to maintaining a site that will benefit our clients and others who seek tomorrow's solutions to today's problems.
"We are further committed to ensuring that Barkscomm.com remains as dynamic as our training workshops. In fact, we will present new features on a regular basis," Barks pledged. "We also plan the occasional surprise or two - like money saving offers that will be available only to our online guests. It will pay to visit Barkscomm.com regularly."
Barkscomm.com offers details on Barks Communications' media, speech, and testimony training workshops, including details on its innovative "How to Testify and Win!" seminar. The full text of several Barks publications is available online. This includes The Barks Report, published bi-monthly. Another entry is The Big Event, a monthly feature analyzing a top story which is available only to Barkscomm.com visitors.
There will also be a constantly changing roster of "Insider Techniques" sheets, articles, and more available on Barkscomm.com's "Free Stuff" page. Currently featured is a Communications Training Audit being offered to help communications professionals determine their training requirements.
A list of FAQs (frequently asked questions) is also posted. They include answers to such questions as "Who needs communications training?," "What should I look for when choosing a communications trainer?," and "What's the difference between media training, speech training, and testimony training?"
The needs of journalists are met in the Barkscomm.com Press Gallery. "We teach our clients about the benefits of an open and honest working relationship with the media. That is the aim of our Press Gallery - to provide reporters with the information they need when they need it," Barks said.
"The team at Fisher Creative who designed Barkscomm.com deserves a hearty round of applause," Barks continued. "Anyone who visits the site will find it easy to navigate and very eye appealing. Fisher Creative did a first rate job, and I thank them for their effort and their talent."
