PRSA Association, Non-profit Members to Gain Insights on “Off the Record” Interviews
Association and non-profit communications executives face a unique opportunity to share views on “off the record” media interviews when Ed Barks presents, “Can We Talk Off the Record?” on Friday, July 31.
His talk takes place at the 2009 association/non-profit conference of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in Washington, D.C. The forum’s theme is “Show Me the Money! (And the Members!): Donors, Dollars and Dealing With the New Economy.”
Barks’ presentation is based on his report, “Can We Talk Off the Record? Resolving Disagreements, Increasing Understanding Between Reporters and Public Relations Practitioners,” which issues 10 best practice recommendations for reporters and public relations practitioners to follow regarding off the record media interviews.
