Barks Releases Two Audio Resources Aimed at Sharpening Executive Communications Skills
Barks Communications has added two new products to its Barks Learning Network. The two audio CDs are entitled, "The Three Keys to Great Presentations™" and "Do You Really Need Your Laptop for a Power Packed Presentation?"
"These new products fit squarely with our vision of helping today's leaders become better communicators," said company President Edward J. Barks. "It also fulfills our goal of delivering a wide range of flexible services and products that benefit our customers."
The Three Keys to Great Presentations™ simplifies a speaker's ability to plan, deliver, and critique his or her next presentation.
"I've seen too many of my clients walk into their presentation skills workshops overloaded, thinking improvement was too complicated," added Barks. "They need a practical, easy to remember system to raise their public speaking abilities. The Three Keys to Great Presentations™ does just that."
The new resource follows a quick-paced question and answer format in which Barks explains the system he developed to aid his clients.
"This new Barks Learning Network product works as a separate educational program or as reinforcement of a client's presentation skills training workshop," he continued. "It also presents an efficient way for an organization to get a large group of people up to speed quickly."
"The Three Keys to Great Presentations™ consist of Preparation, Performance, and Assessing Feedback," according to Barks. "In other words, this system covers what you need to study before, during, and after your remarks. Breaking down matters into these bite-sized chunks makes learning so much easier."
Do You Really Need Your Laptop for a Power Packed Presentation? explains how to enhance presentation software usage for those who employ slides during their presentation. "Savvy speakers know that presentation software needs to be used judiciously," Barks said. "If you lean on your slides as a crutch, you run the risk of boring or, worse yet, alienating your audience."
In this new audio resource, also produced in a question and answer format, Barks explains the importance of making slides strengthen a presentation, not detract from it.
Each of the new audio CDs is available on Barkscomm.com's secure online shop at www.barkscomm.com/products for $19 apiece.
The two new products join the Barks Learning Network, an ever-expanding series of multimedia educational tools that includes not only audio products, but training guides and other publications.
